Job Overview

Responsibility for preparing the annual accounts and tax computations of limited companies, LLP and some larger sole trader and partnership clients. You will also be comfortable with speaking to clients directly.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare accounts and tax computations for a range of clients with turnovers of between £100k and £10m ready for review the Accounts Manager or Director
  • Act as a main point of contact for the client, dealing with some ad-hoc queries
  • Support junior team members
  • Actively manage your own workflow and deadlines

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum 2 years UK accountancy practice experience dealing with annual accounts
  • Part qualified AAT, ACCA or ACA (study package available).
  • Comfortable with managing own workflow and client contact
  • Desire to work for a progressive and growing firm of accountants and tax advisers that is a small firm that acts like a bigger firm.
  • Car licence but mostly office based.
